Hey, y'all! I'm a wife, mother, artist, and Christian. I enjoy reading when I'm not painting or drawing, and I write a book blog for fun. My artwork includes oil painting, colored pencil, and silverpoint, and is sold through the Red Dot Gallery in Homewood, Alabama.  My husband and I have been married for thirty-two years, and we enjoy spending time at beautiful Lake Martin, Alabama. A former educator, I quit teaching when our youngest daughter was diagnosed with CP as a toddler.  I then helped create the very first Community Outreach Special Education PTA.  As a children's advocate, I have sat through countless IEP meetings with other parents and helped them navigate the process, ensuring that their children received the services and accommodations they needed.  Our oldest daughter is an SLP PhD research scientist, and our youngest is an undergrad studying disabilities and women's studies; she should graduate in May 2021. We are minions to our Westie overlords.
